Minecraft has announced that they have replaced the random number generator that generates worlds and ensures that more seeds are generated as unique. They have replaced the number generator with Minecraft snapshot 21w41a which is a Minecraft java snapshot.
According to Minecraft, snapshot 21w41a will ensure more seeds are unique and it will also move everything around in the world, so expect all worlds to look different in this snapshot.
They've also updated the cubemap, which is a spinning image that appears behind the main menu. It's really nice!
Minecraft snapshot 21w41a will also give new rendering code that looks a lot more like the PC version of Minecraft.
Minecraft snapshot 21w41a is already out, but you won't be able to get it until they release it officially. Be warned! This is a very early Minecraft snapshot and there's a chance it might not be completely stable.
If you reconstruct the world after it has been completely backed up and loaded into a new version of Minecraft, your items may be lost. As a result, It is vital to back up your world before loading it into this snapshot.
