Nuvotifier is a Spigot plugin that notifies you when a vote has been made on a Minecraft server's top list. This can be set up in minutes.
Requirements: The plugin already installed, see our guide on installing plugins on Minecraft servers:
https://scalacube.com/help/gameservers/minecraft/installing-plugins
For this guide, we will be using the NuVotifier plugin.
The first step is to go to Scalacube.com and log in to your account.
Go to the "Servers" page.
Click on your server name which in this case will be "Eris 3942".
Locate the Dedicated IP field on the top right and purchase it. It is a 10$ one-time purchase.
This is required so all ports will be open and the NuVotifier plugin can be used.
Once the Dedicated IP has been purchased and set up, go to the "Servers" page and click on "Manage server".
Click on "Manage" again.
Note: Make sure your server is offline.
Next, locate the "File Manager" on the bottom right and enter it.
Locate the "plugins" folder and enter it.
Enter the "Votifier" plugin folder.
Find "config.yml" and click on "Edit".
Inside the file, locate the "port" field.
The port must be between 1 and 65535 and not in use by any other service, including the port of the server NuVotifier will be running on. For example, setting the port as a random "8863" will work if it is not being used by any other service.
Click on "Save" to save the changes made.
