When running a server, it’s highly recommended to list your server on a vote site. Why? Because voting, in general, is really important, especially those who run their servers for the first time.
At the time goes, your server might get bigger if more and more people know about it. And without getting the votes, it would be more difficult for you to gain the popularity your server needs to put it on the list. Most people would even advise against removing the server from the Minestatus server listing websites as it can definitely erase your server’s existence for good.
And for this purpose, you’ll need a special plugin that will notify you each time a vote is made for your server, and it’s called Votifier. This plugin works by making a smaller server that will wait any connections from the server list. With each vote made, the server will obtain that information through its simple protocol.
Another thing that’s good about Votifier is the fact that it’s highly secure, even the developers will find it difficult to hack into it. The reason is the utilization of the 2048-bit RSA encryption, ensuring that the vote packets can be highly protected.
Nuvotifier is a Spigot plugin that notifies you when a vote has been made on a Minecraft server's top list. This can be set up in minutes.

Go to the "Servers" page.
Click on your server name which in this case will be "Eris 3942".
Locate the Dedicated IP field on the top right and purchase it. It is a 10$ one-time purchase.
This is required so all ports will be open and the NuVotifier plugin can be used.
Once the Dedicated IP has been purchased and set up, go to the "Servers" page and click on "Manage server".
Click on "Manage" again.
Note: Make sure your server is offline.
Next, locate the "File Manager" on the bottom right and enter it.
Locate the "plugins" folder and enter it.
Enter the "Votifier" plugin folder.
Find "config.yml" and click on "Edit".
Inside the file, locate the "port" field.
The port must be between 1 and 65535 and not in use by any other service, including the port of the server NuVotifier will be running on. For example, setting the port as a random "8863" will work if it is not being used by any other service.
Click on "Save" to save the changes made.
