How to Disable Minecraft Player Announcements

You have to be an administrator (OP) for this to work. See our guide on how to make yourself an admin on Minecraft:

Log into your server.

Type in "/gamerule announceAdvancements false".



Player advancement messages are now disabled. Typing the same command with "true" instead of "false" will enable it again.

Summary:

1. Make sure you have admin rights to enter commands
2. Log into server
3. Enter /gamerule announceAdvancements false
4. Enter true to turn them back on
