Changing the configuration settings of your ARK server allows you to change your gameplay by modifying values and creating a more customized game.
The first step is to go to Scalacube.com and log into your account.
Once logged in, go to "Servers" and click on "Manage server".
Click "Manage" again.
Locate "Settings" on the left tab and enter it.
Here we can see both the "Game.ini" and "Gameusersettings.ini" configuration files.
Clicking on "Change" on any of the files will allow us to enter them and change specific values of these settings. Keep in mind that you should turn off your server before making any changes.
If we click "Change" on "Game.ini",
We can see the Player level tab, allowing us to change how much XP is required for each level.
Dino level which allows us to change how much experience is required for each dinosaur to level up.
Dino, to allow or disable spawn and it's specific characteristics.
Scorched earth specific dinosaurs.
Engrams and their costs/levels or having the ability to enable or disable them.
Per lvl multiplier, allowing to change how much the values are per level.
And the Other tab, which has any game-specific settings and changes.
If we click "Change" on "GameUserSettings.ini",
We can see more server-specific settings to customize your gameplay further.
After any change is made, scroll down and click on "Change" to save your changes.
Once your desired changes are made, click on "Turn on" to turn on the server and you are ready to connect to it.
