When playing ARK for a while, you might feel that you are not experiencing all you can from your gaming experience, so most users opt for changing the difficulty to a higher one to allow stronger monsters to roam your world. This can be achieved in a matter of minutes.
The first step is to go to Scalacube.com and log in to your account.
Click on "Servers" and then click on "Manage server"
Click "Manage" again.
Click on "Settings".
Locate "GameUserSettings.ini" and enter it.
Locate "DifficultyOffset" and "OverrideOfficialDifficulty"
It is recommended to set "DifficultyOffset" to 1 for easier management.
OverrideOfficialDifficulty can be set to a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 10. Each point set in this will increase the dino level by 30 and will also increase the loot percentage.
Once your changes are made, scroll down and click on "Change".
Confirm your change and wait for the process to finish.
Once it is done, go "Back" and restart your server by clicking on "Reboot".
Now, to load new dinos with the correct difficulty levels displayed, please log in to the server and enter the "admincheat DestroyWildDinos" command.
Your dinos will now have the correct difficulty levels displayed.
