Minecraft Snapshot
Minecraft Snapshot 24w38a for Java Edition has been released, and it packs some hefty new features along with a few bug fixes. The most exciting things to look out for in this update are dyeable bundles and the really big improvements to Realms, major among them being Hardcore mode support. Below is what changed and updated in this snapshot:
Changes
Shulker Box coloring recipes are now visible in the recipe book.
Updated the world creation screen for Realms.
Hardcore mode has been enabled for Realms.
Throwing items quickly out of inventory in Creative mode is now throttled.
Realms Updates
Uses the fully-featured world creation screen.
Enables customization of game rules and datapacks.
Hardcore Mode: Now available in Realms, accessible by creating a new world or recreating an existing one.
Technical Changes
Data Pack version updated to 54.
Resource Pack version updated to 39.
Temporary option to ignore client-side connection errors has been removed.

New Recipe Type
crafting_transmute: A new recipe type that copies the input item stack and changes its item type, preserving stack components.

Updated models and UV mapping for Torches and Redstone Torch blocks.
Bug Fixes
Bug with enchanted items - now they won't disappear when their durability expires. Squids bouncing in bubble columns caused by the new bubble mechanics. None of the above recipe book search field selects. Minecart with Furnace behavior over curves.
Anvil shows "too expensive" before attempting to repair.
Squids and glow squids that bounce in bubble columns.
Shift-clicking "Destroy Item" slot causing desync.
Crashes the game when trying to open the inventory with Invisibility and Glowing effects applied.
