Roblox is getting sued

Roblox is a game that has been around for a long time and has been played by many different gamers alike, but it has faced scrutiny many times since its creation, and has found itself in the middle of a lawsuit once again. The popular game had just released a collaboration with Charlie XCX, bringing in new styles and dances to the game.
The game is being sued due to the use of a viral dance to the song “Apple” by Charlie XCX. The creator of the dance, Kelley Heller, expressed how she was initially contacted by Roblox regarding the dance, but later never received any information or royalties from the dance being included in the game, without finalizing any of the details.
While many are looking for the Roblox download, the creators are looking for another way out of seemingly another legal situation, The Roblox games are banned in some countries due to legal issues in the past, so this is not their first rodeo.
While it is unclear where this lawsuit will go, Roblox will likely continue, and the player base will not notice much of a difference, as it will most likely be an arranged royalty payment, as they have allegedly profited over $120,000 from the dance.
