Ubisoft has rolled out some major updates to the anti-cheat system of its hit game Rainbow Six Siege. The improvements will no longer have an aimbot-wielding player ruin the fun in mid-match.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the Rainbow Six Siege team announced the hard-hitting changes. Botting now results in a permanent ban on the first offense. Gone are the days of 15-day suspension periods. Ubisoft has an improved detection system in place that "reduces false positives. They have also developed a system that kicks cheaters when caught during mid-match. Moreover, the match will be canceled as well.
The developers further added that they have deployed a fresh round of security updates that will disrupt rainbow six siege cheats providers. While Rainbow Six Siege already has one of the best anti-cheat systems these changes are likely to make it even tougher to get their way.
