Atomfall, a stunningly creepy apocalyptic-type game following in similar footsteps to the Fallout series, could have potential for another. While the game was only released in March this year (2025), the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. The player count on the game in just over two weeks was above 2 million worldwide. This marks a huge success for Rebellion, the development company behind Atomfall.
Since the release, most if not any of the Atomfall review pages have been positive, marking a winning game for the company, while they have seen high numbers of players in previous games like Sniper Elite, this is the fastest success they have had from any of their titles, making it one of the strongest contenders for a sequel within the development company.
Microsoft has brought more eyes to this game, with the title being a day-one Xbox Game Pass game, giving all subscribers the ability to try the game out, the devs recognize this as an opportunity for players with the game pass to spread the game through word of mouth, and encourage others to purchase the game. The development team is active within the community and is proving to make great decisions regarding Atomfall. There are not many games like this set in England, with the graphics style it has, and it really makes the Atomfall game intriguing for everyone
