Monster Hunter Wilds is living up to the hype so far. But some small issues have arisen, as with any new game, and some players are finding the game quite easy. The devs have another problem on their hands: hackers. Players who ruin every game for other players, and will always do so. Capcom has released a statement expressing how cheaters and playing with them will render some quests “unplayable”.
Due to how new the game is, the team is only just finding out what type of hacks players are introducing to the game, and just how damaging they might be. The issue itself has mainly been contained to PC, as hacks are much easier to install than on consoles. Capcom has released a few statements recently regarding the issue, so it’s definitely a problem that has caught their attention.
Capcom urges players to quit the game if they think the quest they are involved in may be hacked, as these can massively interfere with gameplay and cause many adverse effects. The team behind the game seems to be working hard to combat these attempts, and it looks like we will have a fairer Monster Hunter Wilds than before.
