The all-new Game of Thrones Kingsroad game launched in early access in April 2025, a game that avid GoT fans had been waiting for a while. Sadly, the game didn’t get the outstanding reviews that were expected with the release, gaining mixed reviews within the first two weeks.

For the majority of PC players, the added monetisation within the game gave it too much of a mobile game feel, which is expected as it is also released on mobile.

The devs behind the game, following the popular TV show, are responding well to the criticism, actively making changes based on the community feedback and adding lots of content and changes to keep players enjoying the game, playing. The latest location to be added to the game will be Stormlands, a much darker area in the storyline.

There were lots of talks of changes to the RP system, where the team is actively discussing finding the right balance for the daily amount of RP provided, while still having activities to do that keep you progressing.

The game should have much more progression, and an enjoyable feel coming more and more with each change.
