The Monster Hunter Wilds open beta now becomes available through the official release by Capcom for its platform support on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The beta tests will take place across two periods from February 6 to 9 and February 13 to 16 from 7 PM Pacific Time each day.
During the beta, players can navigate through the Windward Plains as they encounter the new monsters Chatacabra and the dominant Alpha Doshaguma. A new open beta phase brings back Gypceros alongside Arkveld which stands as the flagship monsters of the game. The beta explores fresh environments and introduces new mechanics which provide players with what to expect when the game releases officially.
The beta testing phase welcomes every player without any need for Monster Hunter Wilds pre-orders. The client can be downloaded directly from platform stores so players can jump right in without any hassle. Beta participants receive Felyne plushy pendants and bonus item packs that transfer to the final version release.
Monster Hunter Wilds will have its complete release on February 28 2025. The beta version allows players to test out upcoming features which will be released in the official version.
All players can participate in the beta since pre-order requirements do not exist.
The beta version of the game supports three platforms: PC together with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The beta character creations will transfer to the final version yet the remaining progress remains separate in the complete game.
The bonus rewards for participating in the beta include both a Felyne-themed plushy pendant along with the item pack in the full game release.
