Manor Lords marked its first anniversary in early access on April 26, 2025. To celebrate the occasion, developer Slavic Magic revealed a detailed roadmap of the upcoming features and improvements.
This next update adds two new maps, a snowy forest and a mountainous woodland, providing new locations in which to settle. Taverns and wells building upgrades are also an upcoming venture with added aesthetics and functionality. These changes are synchronized with a redesign of the Ale and water distribution mechanism, thus facilitating resource management more naturally and at the same time more effectively.
The marketplaces will undergo massive revamping, and new filter functionalities will allow the players to decide what is distributed to the households. The purpose is also to improve the flow of supply chains and to overcome former inefficiencies. Moreover, the Manor Lords update will also fix bugs about homeless settlers and archer damage balance issues, as well as improve sawpit efficiency and storage.
In previewing what lies ahead, Slavic Magic is looking at how to integrate AI-controlled cities, giving more challenge and realism to the game. Some of the yet to be implemented future features include naval battles, cavalry units, sieges, and the inclusion of walls and fortification of settlements. These enhancements reflect the developer's commitment to evolving Manor Lords based on player feedback and community engagement.
