Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players are beginning to get fed up with an issue that strips their characters of clothing and armor during cutscenes and certain activities. The inconvenience of having to manually re equip gear after each instance has caused many to flood forums complaining about the issue. This breaks immersion and destroys the realism the game is known for. A few players have called for Warhorse Studios to add on a feature that secures outfits during story sequences or mechanically resets them after scripted events.
Yet another major bone of contention is the removal of dirt, blood, and wear effects on various clothing and armor items, all of which also increased realism in the game. Recently, players have noticed the complaint that the clothing of their characters stays spotless (affects immersion) during combat. Many fans think these things more or less completely ruin the hard, realistic, detail-focused mechanics of the game.
The changes have, in turn, triggered discussions in the Kingdom Come 2 community about whether these were intentional or due to bugs. They either suspect the developers adjusted it to squeeze out more performance, while others think these are unintended glitches. Either way, Warhorse Studios should address these concerns players have in future patches, some wish. The hope is that a solution can be found that preserves the game's realism and convenience of gameplay.
