Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 boasts a huge amount of historical accuracy. The game, since the start of the franchise, has been focusing on realism, something that has brought the attention of many fans. But since the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 release date, players have noticed that there are no children in the game, and this has raised questions from many.
The devs actually responded to questions regarding this a few times, and the response is completely understandable. The problem the devs are facing is the game specializes in realism, and if they include children they would have to block people from attacking children in game, which isnt realistic, and they opt not to leave it into gamers hands to be ‘good people’ within the game, as a quote from the devs expressed “The problem with adding children, is you're then relying on players to be good people in-game, something which a large portion of the gaming world just wouldn't be able to commit to," Stopping people making questionable videos with attacking children in game is their top reason.
This response from the studios is completely reasonable, as they have expressed their upset that the game is not completely realistic without children; they just do not trust the gaming community enough to create a good and reasonable atmosphere in games. With such a popular release and a popular game, this small inconvenience to an otherwise realistic 15th century can be overlooked.
Yes, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is out on all platforms.
