While serving as CEO, Price began Insomniac Games in 1994 and also served as creative director for their main franchises. Since his work at Insomniac Games began in 1994 he believed the right moment for him to retire had arrived. He resigned this March while preparing executives Ryan Schneider, Jen Huan,g and Chad Dezern to succeed him.
A team of three experienced executives now leads Insomniac Games. Ryan Schneider, Jen Huang, and Chad Dezern have been appointed to this role. As an original employee from PS2 days Schneider now becomes the company leader following his position as Head of Strategy. Huang joined Insomniac as CFO eight years ago to lead the company's financial strategy. Dezern has led Insomniac's creative path as part of its team for 26 years since joining in 2017.
Insomniac Games is continuing to advance its next initiatives. The development of Marvel's Wolverine remains top-secret even though Chad Dezern runs the project and may release it by 2025. After the 2016 release, Schneider made statements about future movie adaptations of Insomniac Games' projects.
Even though Price left the company, the road ahead for Insomniac Games looks promising. After creating several favorite gaming characters, Insomniac Games shows no signs of slowing down.
After 30 years, he feels it’s time to step aside and let new leadership guide Insomniac Games.
