Just released, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is already creating a buzz. Just hours after its release, it hit the number one spot on Steam's bestsellers list with more than 140,000 concurrent players and climbing. Both Virtuos and Bethesda remastered this using Unreal Engine 5, which provides a complete revamp of visuals, performance, and gameplay mechanics.

The updated graphics, improved controls, and other quality of life enhancements that bring a bit of modernity to the classic RPG experience are being praised by both new and veteran players. Every original DLC starting with Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles gets seamlessly fused with the main game and is included in the remaster.

The new features have been well-received and include better enemy scaling, better UI, and even more autosave options. While there have been some performance hiccups on some platforms, the reaction overall has been overwhelmingly positive on Steam and other platforms as well.

Oblivion Remastered is now available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, and it’s also coming through Xbox Game Pass.
