Days Gone Remastered releases on PS5 on April 25 with enhanced visuals, fresh content, and a modernized trophy awards system. The PlayStation 4 Platinum trophy earners will receive automated Platinum unlock in the PS5 version as Bend Studio allows them to import their saved data from PS4.
The PS5 version will have three fresh gameplay modes. The Horde Assault game mode puts players in wild battles against Freakers and human enemies, giving them rewards such as unlockable characters and cosmetics. Players in Days Gone Permadeath mode must watch out as a single death closes ends their run and, if successfully finished, will receive exclusive rewards. The Speedrun mode provides quick gameplay to players who want to share their completion times and race toward the best run scores.
The remastered edition of Days Gone delivers complete support for PS5 features, including 3D audio, VRR, DualSense controller adaptive triggers and offers a major graphical improvement over the legacy version that touches every aspect, from shadows to draw distance to lighting effects. This remastered version includes accessibility features, which consist of High Contrast mode, the ability to remap controls, and the ability to enable in-game UI narration.
New players need to spend $49.99 for the game, but existing PS4 users can advance to the product through a $10 upgrade. All pre-order purchases include eight new PSN avatars and five early gameplay features for players. With all these changes, Days Gone Remastered improves its graphical performance while adding extensive gameplay content to satisfy every fan.
