Firaxis Games provided a UI update plan after receiving community input about Civilization 7 UI. The update 1.1.0 contains two main features which introduce the Bermuda Triangle natural wonder as well as refreshed user interface improvements to the game. Firaxis Games will maintain this pattern through update 1.1.1, set for March 25, by adding new features such as Mount Everest alongside the planned UI improvements.
Since the Civilization 7 early access launch, players have continuously pointed out problems regarding the UI and the way the map appears. Firaxis dedicated their effort to resolving the UI issues by creating intuitive controls with improved map visibility and addressing interface layout issues.
The future development plan will introduce several new features which will be released over April and beyond including options for multiplayer teams together with additional resource types and a "one more turn" feature in the Modern Age. The company is also planning to provide modding tools to players while working on expanding map sizes, AI improvements, and UI refinement efforts.
Firaxis takes a positive stance by using community feedback to make gameplay improvements in Civilization 7. The developers aim to connect Civilization 7 more precisely to player expectations through ordered UI fixes and integrated new features.
