On April 4, the Monster Hunter Wilds community welcomes Title Update 1, which adds fresh content, including new monsters, equipment, and gameplay features to spice up the hunting experience.
This update reintroduces the Mizutsune monster, which brought its beloved bubble-type attacks back to the game. Anyone at Hunter Rank 21 or above can activate the Spirit in the Moonlight quest after talking to Kanya in the Scarlet Forest. The defeated players will encounter Mizutsune, and players with HR 40 or higher will battle its Tempered variant.
Players at HR 50 and above can access the new Event Quest featuring Arch-tempered Rey Dau. Beating the upgraded threat grants players items for the Rey Dau Gamma armour. The additional quests in Monster Hunter: Wilds reveal Zoh Shia as another monster that provides powerful gear to both hunters and Palicoes.
Beyond Hunter Rank 16, you can find Grand Hub through Tetsuzan in Suja, which grants access to a new meeting spot. Arrows Project offers players the opportunity to play Barrel Bowling in addition to seasonal content within Grand Hub, where they can view Expedition and Squad Information records. The Festival of Accord: Blossomdance seasonal event will be active between April 23 and May 7, and its features include special meals and festive cosmetics.
The update brings Arena alongside Challenge and Free Challenge Quests as gameplay options that highlight various setups, varying rewards and multiplayer or time-based performance features.
To speak with Kanya in Scarlet Forest, you first need to reach HR 21.
The new social area becomes accessible at HR 16.
A new Arch-tempered monster for HR 50+.
The event called Blossomdance will activate on April 23 as part of its spring theme.
