Changing the save interval affects how often your world and your players and their actions will be saved on the world file. By default, it is set to 300 seconds (5 minutes). This can be changed to lower or higher, according to your preference. This guide will show you how this can be changed easily. Keep in mind that if you set the save interval too low, it can have a bad effect on players in-game. For example, if they lose items due to death, there might not be an available save to roll back the server for the items to still exist.
The first step is to go to Scalacube.com and log in to your account.
Once logged in, locate "Servers" and click on "Manage Server".
Click "Manage" again.
Locate "Settings" on the left tab and enter it.
Scroll down until you find "Save interval". Change this according to what your preference is.
Once your required interval is chosen, click on "Save" and wait for the process to finish.
Go back, and "Reboot" your server for the changes to fully take effect.
