If wanting to test our services or to own a free yet powerful server provided by us, this is a perfect way to get a one on our hosting platform. Getting a free server and setting up can be achieved in a matter of minutes.
The first step is to go to scalacube.com/hosting/server/ark and click on "Get Your Server".
Select the best Dedicated server location closest to you and click "Next".
Select the first player slots plan, as that one will be free of charge, click on "Next".
Select your Server Address, free servers only support the first option which is "IP with Port". Click "Next".
Click "Next" on the Applications page.
Sign up for our website.
You will now be at the finalizing screen for your free server, click "Continue".
Your free server process is now complete.
On this page, we can see the "Renew for free" button, which you will have to do every 2 days for the server to be active, if this is not done, the server and all its contents will automatically be deleted and a new free server has to be redeemed from the beginning.
Next, click on "Manage server".
Select your server and click on "Select" and then, "Install" and wait for the process to finish.
The free server compared to a premium server is limited in its configuration, if we click on "Monitoring", we can see the existing server and its resource usage at the current time.
If we click back on "Game servers" and click "Manage" we can see the main hub for your Free ARK server.
Here we can turn off the server, restart it, update and delete an existing game server.
If we click on "Console", we can see the console for your free ARK server, allowing you to see the startup process of your server in real-time.
As previously mentioned, the free server does have its limitations compared to a premium plan, if purchasing a premium plan, you can have access to all of the features we offer like:
