Alpha Bosses in Palworld are more than just tougher versions of normal Pals that you stumble across in the Wilds of Palworld; indeed, they’re key challenges to take on during your adventure, but it’s well worth fighting them as they can drop valuable loot and even unlock content that allows you to progress in your game. However, they’re not always the easiest to find, especially if you’re the sort of player who gets easily distracted while exploring; so, knowing where each Alpha spawns, what level they’re at, and whether they respawn is crucial if you want to hunt them efficiently. Fortunately, we’ve outlined all of the main things you’ll need to know to help you take them on as follows.
Palworld has a lot of Alpha Bosses to be aware of, and these foes can present quite a challenge as you progress through the game. Fortunately, knowing what to prepare for can help a lot, and the following tips could be incredibly useful to keep in mind.
In total, there are 70 different Alpha Bosses scattered throughout the lands of Palworld, of which the majority are found in the base game. However, the Feybreak update introduced a good number of extra high-level Alpha Bosses, plus two added with the Sakurajima update and one in the Tides of Terraria update.
Since the vast majority of Alpha Bosses in Palworld are of a high level, it’s highly recommended to ensure you’re bringing your A-Game before you take them on. Fortunately, with a private Palworld server, you can be sure that your game remains stable and responsive with 24/7 server uptime, so there’s no need to worry about your game crashing in the middle of your all-important battle!
There are numerous different Alpha Pals you’ll find during the early game of Palworld, with the Level 11 Chillet, Sweepa, and Gumoss likely being the first Alpha Pals you’ll find. These are found southwest of Fort Ruins, southwest of the Small Cove, and near the Sea Breeze Archipelago Island.

A full list of low-level Alpha Bosses in Palworld can be found below. As you progress through the game, you’ll also begin to stumble across increasingly high-level Alpha Pals. Naturally, these Pals will put up even more of a fight than the previously mentioned species, but they’ll also drop higher-grade loot and more EXP, so it’s still worth taking them on (so long as you’re Pal Level Region/Location Bronchery 30 Sea Breeze Archipelago Elphidran 30 Southwest of Hypocrite Hill Warsect 30 Sealed Realm of the Stalwart Univolt 31 Sea Breeze Archipelago Church Mossanda Lux 31 Eastern Wild Island (centrally) Relaxaurus Lux 31 Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon Elizabee 31 Devout’s Mineshaft Lunaris 32 Sealed Realm of the Esoteric Verdash 35 Sealed Realm of the Swift Wumpo Botan 38 Northern beach on Eastern Wild Island Mammorest 38 Grassy Behemoth Hills Vaelet 38 Sealed Realm of the Guardian Sibelyx 40 Sealed Realm of the Pristine Ice Kingpaca 43 Forgotten Mineshaft Menasting 44 Dessiccated Mineshaft Jormuntide 45 East of Verdant Brook, by a mass of bones Suzaku 45 Southeast of the Duneshelter Dinossom Lux 47 Furthest Mineshaft Anubis 47 Twilight Dunes Anubis Statue Astegon 48 Destroyed Mineshaft Blazamut 49 Scorching Mineshaft Lyleen Noct 49 Iceberg Mineshaft

Yes! Many Alpha Pals in Palworld will respawn, although the exact respawn rules will depend on the type of Pal you’re dealing with.
The highest level Alpha Pals in Palworld include the Frostallion, Celesidr, and Neptilius Pals, which are found in the Sealed Realm of the Black Pagasus, the Crystalized Ancient Tree, and the Isle of the Glacial Core, respectively.
Alpha Bosses are a big part of what makes Palworld so exciting, and they’re an extreme test for your gear and your team alike. Fortunately, with today’s guide, you should be able to find all of the different Alpha Pals in the game, and don’t forget - you won't be ready to take them all down at once. So, don’t rush to try and take on a Level 50 Alpha when you're still level 20 (you probably won’t be able to get to the Pal itself anyway).
