Getting hold of materials in Palworld isn’t always easy, and there’s always a struggle to find the materials you’ll need for your next project. Such is common in pretty much any game, but in Palworld, there’s a great solution to this problem that can very quickly allow you to gather the materials you need: the Item and Loot Duplication glitch in Palworld! However, the Item and Loot Duplication glitch isn’t something you’ll normally stumble across by accident; as such, if you want to try out this trick, we’ve outlined everything you’ll need to know to trigger the Item and Loot Duplication glitch in your next playthrough of Palworld.

Before we go into the specific steps you’ll need for the Item and Loot Duplication glitch in Palworld, it’s first worth briefly considering how this exploit works and how you can use it. The Item and Loot Duplication glitch allows you - as the name would suggest - to duplicate the loot you’ve gathered, thereby making it possible to increase your material gathering efforts significantly! It’s quite a tricky glitch to pull off and does require very careful timing, though, so make sure your game is running on a private dedicated Palworld server to get 24/7 uptime and a smooth, responsive server experience.
So, you’ve collected a load of building materials during your latest mission or journey out, but wouldn’t it be amazing if you had even more? Well, with the Item and Loot Duplication glitch, this is possible, and the main method for this is to exploit the game’s normal crafting mechanic for building base structures. First, choose a structure that uses the material(s) you want to duplicate. Ideally, to increase the efficiency of your duplication efforts, pick something with a relatively high material cost; this will make sense shortly! Then, make sure you have the required materials in your storage; more specifically, these need to be kept in a chest or storage container inside your base, so they are not in your immediate inventory.

Now, with your materials in storage, stand at the very border of your base; your base’s boundary is usually marked by a faint blue circle or line around the outskirts. You’ll need to be as close to the edge as you possibly can. Then, attempt to build the structure at the same time as crossing the base; if you’ve done it right, your new structure will be illegitimately frozen on top of the boundary line ( still showing in red).
Now, cancel the construction immediately. Doing so will refund the build cost into your inventory for the materials. However, you technically never actually built the structure since it was illegitimately placed on top of the boundary line, in other words doubling the amount of materials you have to hand!
Thus far, we’ve seen how to duplicate materials and items using the crafting mechanic in Palworld, but it’s also possible to increase the amount of loot you harvest from Pals! Indeed, this technique duplicates loot from Pals by triggering a simultaneous capture and kill, which, when done right, means you’ll effectively have defeated the Pal twice!
As with the previous glitch, this one again relies on some pretty nifty timing to do it right. You’ll also need to choose the right enemy to make it work, as it generally relies on you being able to bring a Pal down to low health (but not completely kill it) with your Pals’ attacks; then, you can finish off the wild Pal with your own weapon.
Once the wild Pal has been brought down to low health that you can one-shot yourself, throw a Pal Sphere to attempt to capture the Pal. Simultaneously, attack the Pal, leading to the game processing both the capture and the kill simultaneously; if you’ve nailed the timing here, you’ll then receive both sets of loot: once for the capture and once for the kill. Of course, the benefit here is that, even if it fails, you’ll still get the original loot, so you shouldn’t walk away empty-handed!

As of the most recent update, the Item Duplication methods still seem to be working as normal. However, this could always be patched out in future updates to the game, so this is important to keep in mind when planning your material harvesting strategy.
Yes! Because this glitch works mainly with construction materials, it’s an excellent way to duplicate rare materials that might otherwise be difficult to get hold of.
In theory, yes, this glitch should work for any Pal in Palworld; however, in practice, this depends on the type of Team and weapons you have to draw upon, as it works best when you can kill and capture a wild Pal in a short window of time, preferably by nearly one-shotting the foe to start with.
The Item and Loot Duplication Glitch is one of Palworld’s more powerful exploits, especially when using it with rare and valuable crafting materials. However, you’ll need to get your timing spot-on to make either of the methods work, which is where running your game on a private Palworld server will often prove essential!
