With the future release of Minecraft 1.19.3, Mojang has released a sneak peek Snapshot version 22w46a so you can test out those new updates coming soon!The new features in Snapshot 22w46a inlude:
- Books added into the Chiseled Bookshelf can be added or removed from any slot
- When a Mob Head is placed on a Note Block, that Note Block will then play one of the ambient sounds of that mob
- Piglins will drop their heads when killed by a Charged Creeper, when placing the Mob Head on the Note Block, it will then play that ambient sound.
Changes in 22W46A
- In the Nether dimension Endermen, Skeletons and Wither Skeletons now only spawn at light level 7 and below (instead of 11 and below)
- New textures for Block of Bamboo and Block of Stripped Bamboo
Technical Changes in 22W46A
- Blocks carried by Endermen now use loot tables to generate drops when killed
- Changes to texture loading and stitching
Valheim
The Mistlands biome is a new area added in this update, and there are many new features and items added. Be sure to read the full patch notes below for more details.The "Public Test Version" of the game includes a new biome, Mistlands, and a variety of new features, including new ways to play, 2 new crafting stations, 9 new creatures, 3 crafting station extensions, more than 20 new crafting materials, and 3 other resource/crafting buildings. There are also 15 new food items, 3 new potions, and more than 25 new weapons, armor, and tools that can be made.
More than 35 new furniture and building pieces are also included. A new dungeon type has been added along with new lore stones and dreams with its new music in there.
Project Zomboid
The author of Project Zomboid is releasing new fixes for the stable build, and there may be a smaller patch next week that includes a few more small changes.Furthermore, Blair is working on making farming more tactile and animated, as well as making the system more complicated, interesting, and varied. This week, they made progress on getting the fire system back on track. Lastly, they released a quick update for the Spiffo plush.
