Minecraft
Minecraft's Trails & Tales Update, set to be released on June 7, introduces a variety of exciting features. Players can now explore a new biome called the cherry grove, which is both rare and visually appealing. Additionally, two new sets of wood—bamboo and cherry—allow for more crafting and building options, including the creation of rafts.
Two new mobs are also joining the game. The camel is a versatile mount that can accommodate both solo and duo adventures. Its size provides practical advantages, such as protection from melee mobs, and its endearing ear wiggles add to its charm. The sniffer, another large creature, can be hatched from eggs found during archeological expeditions. By raising a snifflet, players can witness it grow into a sniffer that helps uncover ancient plant seeds.
The update also introduces armor trims, allowing players to customize their armor with various colors and patterns. Furthermore, the Trails & Tales Update offers new ways to express creativity and tell stories. Signs can now be hung on structures, playable mob sounds can be created using mob heads and note blocks, and a chiseled bookshelf provides a place to store and display books. The update will be available for Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on various platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Chromebook.
ARK: Survival Evolved
In Community Crunch 364, the ARK: Survival Evolved team expresses gratitude for the passionate and supportive community that has contributed to the game's evolution over the past eight years. They also announce upcoming projects, including ARK: Survival Ascended, ARK: The Animated Series, and ARK 2.
The Rhyniognatha, a new creature with unique abilities, has been introduced to ARK: Survival Evolved. It can produce quick-hardening resin and carry large objects around the player's base. However, the Windows Store is currently experiencing issues with the Rhyniognatha update.
Fasolasuchus, the winner of the Community Creature Vote, will be added to Scorched Earth for ARK: Survival Ascended. Additionally, a community voting contest is being held to determine a real-world creature that will launch with the Ragnarok map for ARK: Survival Ascended.
In a separate announcement, the release date for ARK: Genesis Part 1 for Nintendo Switch has been confirmed as June 30th. Players can expect an EVO Event across all platforms, which includes increased XP, taming, harvesting, breeding rates, and more.
