Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.2 Update: Bundles of Bravery
The update called Bundles of Bravery is an exciting mix of new features, tweaks, and bug fixes. It adds Hardcore Mode in Realms, the use of Bundles for item management, and new animal variants. Players who sneak while bouncing on Slime Blocks no longer take fall damage.
Bee Behavior:
Tweaked so bees stay closer to their hives and are less likely to get lost.
Bees now wander less and return home faster after gathering pollen.
Ender Pearls:
Ender Pearls now ensure that the chunks they are in, or travel to, remain loaded, improving cross-dimensional travel.
Banner Patterns:
Two new Banner Patterns: Field Masoned (crafted with Paper and Bricks) and Bordure Indented (crafted with Paper and Vines).
Raider Spawning Logic:
Improved spawn mechanics to ensure raiders spawn within a reasonable distance during village raids.
Optimized Game Performance:
Frame rates improved, especially at higher render distances.
Reduced performance impact when turning the camera or loading chunks.
Inactivity Frame Rate Limiter:
New feature to decrease the FPS whenever the game is minimized or out of focus. This is supposed to reduce the footprint on resources.
Accessibility Enhancements:
Improved visibility of block outlines makes targeted blocks more visible in general for visually impaired players.
Bug Fixes:
Over 300 bugs were addressed, improving overall stability and gameplay experience.
Fixes include various tweaks to entities, blocks, and game mechanics.
