Call of Duty: Warzone fans received the exciting news that Verdansk map will return to the Warzone permanently for its anniversary celebrations in spring 2025. This announcement was made during the Call of Duty: NEXT presentation confirming that Verdansk will return to Warzone's map rotation during the game's fifth anniversary.
As soon as Verdansk appeared in Warzone during March 2020 gamers loved the variety of landscapes and tactical landmarks that the environment offered. Verdansk '84 was among its multiple evolutions before 2021 witnessed its map replacement.
Since Verdansk's removal from playtest servers, the CoD community actively continued to press the devs for its comeback. To appeal to its veteran players, Activision is now bringing back the classic Cod map. Several players think the map's reintroduction attempt arrives when interest in the game has already dropped which marks it as a desperate strategy to restore the player's interest. The developers of Warzone have shared no specific information about the adjustments in Verdansk but its upcoming release should bring numerous players back to the game.
