The early access version of Schedule 1 has been extremely popular since its release in March 2025. The company TVGS’s first proper game, an unexpected success for them. The quirkiness of the game creates a fun, crazy atmosphere while playing. But it’s good to see the team adding updates and fixing bugs for the future state of the game. Players will now be able to access inventories of their workers, preventing the ‘stealing’ bug that many people were facing, where items were disappearing from workers' inventories.
This patch also gives players much more freedom on what they can sell to the pawnshop, while also bringing forward fixes for items becoming unstable. It is an impressive feat as this game only has one solo developer named Tyler, who is working hard at creating a stable game on Steam Deck and other platforms, which it has not yet become.
Players reported many issues with Mick and the Pawn Shop, and the fact that he was unavailable. This has now been fixed, so if you were experiencing any issues with Mick, this should now be resolved!
It has been said that the game has received over 5 million sales on Steam, which is an astonishing number for a lone dev to be causing. A popular game with a very good dev that is working hard, it’s exciting to see what more will appear from the game or the dev!
Yes, it is available on Steam Deck, although it is not yet optimized and needs updates to run smoother. Will we ever see a Schedule 1 Xbox or PlayStation?
An up-and-coming games development company called TVGS
It is unlikely that Schedule 1 will leave early access before 2027; until then, there will be many great updates.
It’s looking like a lot of quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and adding features before any new content is added!
