Rockstar Games are really having the time of their lives as Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to break its player count record.
According to RockstarIntel, RDR 2 has again broken another player count record by hitting an all-time high of 92,508 players. Last week, it swayed fans by initially hitting a player count record of 86,717.
Having debuted on Xbox consoles and PlayStation in 2018 before debuting on PC a year later, RDR 2 has continued to gather thousands of fans by daylight. Apparently, Red Dead Online has been able to hold the position for one of the highest-rated video games of all time.
As reported by RockstarIntel, the massive increase in sales is due to the heavily discounted bill passed on Steam. This has swayed players willing to pay less for an expensive game.
The recent Steam sales dropped to a mere $14.99. Having received huge reactions from fans, the gaming community hopes for the most discount offers for other players. As of now, Rockstar is currently working on the release of GTA 6. Let's hope for more RDR announcements before the year runs out.
