Grinding Gear Games, the team behind Path of Exile 2, is trying to turn around some of the negative reviews that were hurled their way after the most recent Dawn of the Hunt update. The game itself has had many negative reviews, and a big struggle with its release since December 2024.

While the game has received backlash, the devs are continuing to try to resolve the issues for the community, with most of them arising about the progression systems and end-game loot.

Patch 0.2.0f will see a vast improvement in loot drops, a huge update that will make the game much more rewarding to play. As well as the loot overhaul, the devs want to make the game's Pinnacle content more accessible. Overall, these updates are a massive step in the right direction for the developers and could begin to lift the considerably bad reviews the early access game has on Steam.
