Now, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remake rumours have finally been confirmed, and the game has been released. The devs have given fans another fantastic incentive to play. The remaster includes all DLCs for the base game, so you don't have to buy them all separately. This has come with the recent release of Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, with a hefty price tag of $50. Even at this price, the game shot into Steam's top games within days and surprisingly aimed at introducing a new audience to the games, also, without having to play Oblivion on an older console.
The support towards the game has been phenomenal, and you can see why! The game is absolutely stunning and is just as fun as it used to be back in 2006, just with a smoother feel and better graphics. The community and fans who ventured into Skyrim, and the remaster of that in October 2016, know how well the remasters went down, without adding too many changes like fans saw in the likes of the ‘Call of Duty 4’ remaster.
At the end of April 2025, the game had over 120,000 concurrent players on Steam, consistently topping the likes of ‘Rust’ and ‘War Thunder’, two very popular games on Steam. A fantastic sign of a loved game with so many avid players this many years later, and the possibility of lots of new fans over the coming years with this remaster.
