GTA 6 is the most anticipated piece of media in the 21st century and the fans are all hyped up as we are nearing the release date. In a recent interview, the GTA V actor Ned Luke, who’s best known for playing the character Michael De Santa believes that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be “Worth the wait”. He wants the fans to keep their cool and stay patient as Rockstar is known to deliver and break records. “Be patient”, he advised. “It’s going to be amazing.”

He emphasized that Rockstar will break the entertainment industry with the release of their anticipated title. He predicted the 1st-day revenue of $1.3 billion, which will greatly surpass GTA V’s first-day revenue of $800 million back in 2013. The analysts at DFC Intelligence have a rather unique take on predicting the GTA 6’s revenue in 1st year. They estimated that a whopping 40 million copies would be sold in the 1st year amounting to $3.2 billion, with $1 billion coming from pre-orders alone.

During his interview, Luke provided information about the missing presence of his character Michael in the post-launch content of GTA Online. He hinted at possible future content, saying, "Maybe he's coming in a final DLC? Maybe he's not. The three characters (Michael, Franklin, and Trevor) might appear in GTA 6. Maybe. Maybe not."

Fans’ expectations are at an all-time high, as Rockstar likes to be secretive about their projects which is adding fuel to all kinds of speculations. GTA fans only had a sneak peek into what Rockstar is developing back in December 2023, and ever since Rockstar has gone radio silent. Some speculated that the game could be pushed to a 2026 release window, but Take-Two confirmed that everything is on track and no delays are expected this time.
