The first series of images from the upcoming movie Until Dawn released by Sony Pictures, reveals what fans can expect from this eagerly awaited adaptation from the popular horror video game. Set to premiere on April 25, 2025, viewers should expect true homage to the original game's unique horror atmosphere which secured its iconic status in gaming.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, known for his work on Annabelle: Creation brings to life a novel story within the existing Until Dawn universe. Clover played by Ella Rubin goes to a secluded valley with her friends to uncover what occurred when her sister Melanie disappeared. The group discovers during their search that a masked attacker hunts them while trapping them in a time loop which forces them again and again through one terrifying night that steadily gets more dangerous.
The newly unveiled shots present both the haunting atmosphere of the film and its dramatic scenes which foreshadow a conventional approach alongside fresh storytelling elements. Fans of the video game will recognize Peter Stormare who delivers Dr. Hill once more for an authentic portrayal bridge between both storytelling forms.
The movie will come out in theatres on April 25, 2025.
