Due to the Schedule 1 game and it’s rapid success there has been an extremely large number of players wanting the game to progress, and naturally game devs can let players mod the game to almost speed up some of their development, it’s not lazy it is extremely smart to implement ideas other people like, as these mods can be built on and become permanent if enough of the player base liek the addition. Now, with the mods, you have to download and install them on your computer, and this has led to some of the mods being infected with malware.
This is a huge discovery as Schedule 1 has begun allowing users to play the mods within the game. And some of these mods have been found to have malware within them. Luckily, most of the mods with malware are being detected quickly, but the dev is reminding fans to be vigilant with any downloads of mods, and only download trusted mods, as there could be some unsavoury malware hidden within.
The mods are a great addition to the game, and have proven to speed up parts of the early access stage, and create more interesting features, if people wish to use them. Since the game allows creators to make mods within the game, it creates a whole world of options on what you can now do in the game, not limited to what the dev intended.
