Dying Light came out 10 years ago and to commemorate this anniversary, Techland is giving out a free DLC bundle with special in-game events as well. This special 10th-anniversary bundle includes a bunch of goodies for the die-hard Dying Light fans and will be available until the 10th of Feb 2025.
A new bundle delivers golden weapons together with the HotShot Outfit as well as Dawnbreaker shotgun, the Golden Idol machete, Sunburst revolver and the Golden Hour buggy skin. The fresh selection of skins and cosmetics provides an exciting outlook to the game while Dying Light players get to experience their survival journey through a different stylish perspective.
Techland is developing a "Marathon of Events" alongside the DLC bundle to bring fresh and innovative rewards as in-game challenges in order to resurrect this franchise. Dying Light fans can participate in-game challenges that force them to kill zombies using certain weapons or fight off massive numbers of the undead through harsh environments.
Techland also announced that the Dying Light 2: Stay Human will implement Tower Raid as its designated persistent gameplay mode starting from Feb 19 2025. The new mode will hopefully bring both new and existing players back to this game. The studio declared their dedication to maintain future updates for the Dying Light sequel which will deliver fresh experiences to existing fans.
Techland hinted at Dying Light universe expansion by revealing future projects that include both merchandise and an original webcomic series as well as planning a new board game. Through their new updates and projects the studio demonstrates that Dying Light will continue to be active for multiple years ahead.
