If you’ve ever tried to play Dark Souls 3 with a friend, you know the pain. The summon system, while immersive, is a frustrating mess—getting kicked back to your world after every boss, re-summoning, dealing with fog walls, and praying the connection doesn’t die mid-fight. But fear not, fellow Ashen Ones! A hero named Yui has delivered what FromSoftware never did: seamless co-op for Dark Souls 3.
Thanks to the Seamless Co-Op mod, you and up to five friends can now plow through Lothric without interruptions. Die? No problem—you’ll respawn at the last bonfire instead of being sent home. Boss down? Stay in the world and keep going. Even better, NPC dialogue is synced, and progress carries over for everyone. No more tedious backtracking just to keep everyone on the same page.
Oh, and those pesky fog walls locking players out of boss fights? Gone. You and your squad can freely roam the world like a true undead battalion, though be warned—this was never in FromSoftware’s design. Expect chaos, cheesing, and an overpowered murder squad cutting through enemies like butter.
The Seamless Co-Op mod is live on Nexus Mods, and Yui has even shared a demo on YouTube. It’s still a work in progress, so expect a few hiccups. But if you’ve ever dreamed of a truly seamless co-op Dark Souls 3 experience, this is it. Time to git gud together!
It removes summoning restrictions, keeps players together after death and bosses, syncs NPC dialogue, and allows six-player co-op.
You can find it on Nexus Mods, and the creator, Yui, has a demo video on YouTube showcasing its features.
Yes! With six players, enemies might feel easier, but expect chaotic fun instead of FromSoftware’s usual brutal solo challenge.
