Battlefield labs shows off destruction upgrades for next game

Battlefield Labs is the franchise’s new development, an easy way to test performance, gunplay, and most importantly to the fans, destructability. Essentially, this is the next round of testing for the series to enable the best possible destruction, movement, and battles in the next Battlefield game.
EA fell under a lot of criticism with Battlefield 2042, and how the destructiveness of the maps has reduced since Battlefield 4. The series has lost a lot of fans since the Battlefield 4 era, and these changes with Battlefield Labs are a step in the right direction for the community. Battlefield V was popular, but it also didn’t feel as destructive as past Battlefield titles.
With the introduction of Battlefield Labs, it opens doors for the devs to work with the community, to start bringing back features that everybody in the community wants, and agrees on is far. Having a dialogue like this between fans and the development team can really solidify a great release of a game, with plenty of happy fans.
It is exciting to see the franchise taking a turn in the right direction after a rocky few years, and losing a lot of support from usually avid Battlefield gamers. Battlefield Hardline to Battlefield Bad Company 2, no matter the curveball, the fans have loved the series throughout the years, religiously. And with so many great memories of the games, it’s easy to see why.
