In September 2024, Team Asobi created Astro Bot, and users worldwide started to embrace the game. Users consistently give the game an OpenCritic score of 100 for its excellent platforming and PlayStation content, plus its unique DualSense controller features. In January, Astro Bot was verified as the top-rated platformer with 110 Game of the Year trophies.
