Did you know that there are numerous enchantments you can apply to your weapons in Avowed? Enchantments are often incredibly useful when building up your character, and as such, it’s well worth knowing how to enchant in Avowed. Following this thought, today, we’re exploring how to enchant in Avowed, including how to apply enchantments, what items can be enchanted, and examples of how enchantments could help strengthen your weapons.
Enchantments in Avowed are incredibly useful, but you can’t just slap one on at any point in time. Instead, you’ll need to plan enchantments for when you’re visiting your camp; luckily, you can travel back to your party’s camp at any time easily if you decide that you need to add a new enchantment to a new weapon you’ve found. Better still, since there are a surprising number of unique weapons in the early game of Avowed, you’ll be able to get started with enchanting pretty quickly!
Of course, there’s no point spending ages trying to find the right weapons to enchant if your game is going to be unstable and laggy. Fortunately, you can upgrade your game’s server - not so dissimilar to an enchanted weapon, really - when you create Avowed server privately with ScalaCube. In turn, this provides exceptional 24/7 server uptime and unparalleled stability, as well as providing full server access and inbuilt DDoS protection to keep your game safe.
With that in mind, it’s now time for us to consider how to add an enchantment from your party’s camp. Luckily, this is very simple. After returning to your camp, look for the enchantment tent; the enchanting station can be easily recognized by the diamond-like symbol in front of it. Upon entering the tent, you’ll then be able to select any of your unique weapons to enchant. Keep in mind that the specific enchantments that can be applied will vary depending on your choice of weapon.
Keep in mind here that different enchantments will need different materials to apply them. You’ll usually also need currency to enchant a weapon, so it’s worth making sure you’ve got a steady stream of cash coming in. Monster parts are perhaps the most widely used material for enchanting.
There are many items that can be enchanted in Avowed; however, these are limited exclusively to unique weapon types. As such, armor or non-unique weapons can only be upgraded, but you won’t be able to actively add an enchantment to these sadly. It’s a real shame, we get it. Don’t forget, though, that some unique armor pieces will still have a predetermined type of enchantment applied; you just cant change these up, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still benefit from enchantments.
As we’ve already mentioned, enchantments usually require a small number of materials in order to apply the effect. These materials will vary, but monster parts are perhaps the most common and include the following (among others):
No. Adding an enchantment allows you to choose a specific effect that suits your playstyle. However, this will override the unique item’s current primary effect, meaning that you’ll need to weigh up carefully whether adding an enchantment is really worthwhile.
In total, there are over 280 different enchantments in Avowed, with these being tied to different unique items throughout the game.
Enchantments in Avowed are incredibly useful for a wide range of different applications, helping strengthen up your character significantly. Given this thought, it’s well worth knowing how enchantments work, how to apply them, and the like to help inform your own decisions. But remember: while enchantments in Avowed are strong, they’re only available for unique weapons, such as the Last Light of Day sword. Given this, you’ll need to find unique gear first before you can add an enchantment.
