I used the hosting several times to organize a multiplayer game in Minecraft with various modifications. I was pleased with the result. Most of the problems I encountered were due to my mistakes and not to the hosting's downsides. Sometimes there are problems with installing some mods on servers (Minecolonies and others), but otherwise everything is at a high level ^^

ScalaCube has become my go-to, default hosting service for modded minecraft. It has amazing uptime, good responsiveness and a solidly reliable FTP system to customize your game down to the bolts. A fantastic product at a great price.

Amazing hosting site, usually with free (or paid) hosting sites the connection is terrible, especially in australia where I live. However, the quality ScalaCube provides despite the servers being over 1500km away is insane! Full bars even with my terrible internet provider.
Definitely recommend either the free one, or for modded or more than 2 players; choose the 6gb 100 player cap option, it's like $30 for 2 months if you use the half off code they provide during your payment.
Very cool ScalaCube, I approve.
