Your Options Shall Be Respected (YOSBR)

YOSBR tries to make sure your Minecraft options in-game are respected by essentially generating default option files so they exist. It enables such essential configuration files to get always present and maintain similarities in game settings

Key Features:

  • Automatic Default Options Creation:
    • If an option file (like options.txt) doesn't exist in the expected location, YOSBR will automatically create the file and populate it with default settings.
  • Location for Default Options:
    • YOSBR looks for a predefined file located at /config/yosbr/options.txt. If this file doesn't exist, the mod copies it over to the standard /options.txt location when the game is launched.
  • Simplicity:
    • The mod does one thing and does it well: it ensures that the options file is always present with the default settings, preventing errors related to missing configuration files.
