Xaero's World Map Mod

Xaero's World Map is a mod that adds a very nice full-screen map to Minecraft and instantly records your world explorations. It works in concert with another mod from the same publisher, called Xaero's Minimap, but each can also be used entirely on their own. This mod will work primarily on the client, though if installed on the server, too, it offers you some extended features, which include but are not limited to world identification.

This mod provides a self-writing world map, allowing players to easily travel and navigate around their world using an intuitive interface. It also allows for the creation of multiple maps, with automatic or manual switching between them.

  • Self-Scribing World Map: Automatically maps the world that you explore.
  • Multiple Maps: The facility to create multiple maps and switch between them.
  • Works in Singleplayer and Multiplayer: Works with both environments, including Realms.
  • Intuitive Controls: Move the map around with the mouse, and zoom in/out with the scroll wheel, just like Google Maps.
  • Automatic Multiple World Detection: Automatically detects different worlds on servers.
  • Chunk Claims & Ally Players - Allows chunk claims and ally players through integrated functionality with the Open Parties and Claims mod.
  • Resource Pack Support: The world map will regenerate upon changing the resource pack.
  • Dimensions de caves: Support for cave dimensions such as the Nether.
  • Vanilla maps mode allows the world map to look like a vanilla paper map.
  • Mapped Footsteps: Shows the path the player last walked.
  • Performance Settings: This could set settings that would help the mod perform better.
  • Xaero's Minimap Integration Adds the ability to show the chunks from the world map and waypoints from Xaero's Minimap.
  • Potion Effects: Ability to customize the map usage depending on potion effects. Example: xaeroworldmap:no_world_map.
  • Waypoint Menu: A menu that will manage and interact with the waypoints directly from the map.
  • Map Export: This functionality exports the world map as a PNG image file.
  • Item Binding for Map Access: The ability to bind map access to an item within a player's hotbar or equipped will add a bit of customization to this.
