Shulker Box Tooltip Mod

The Shulker Box Tooltip is a client-side Minecraft mod. It enhances shulker boxes to display their contents directly from inventory when hovered over and a pressed key is held down. It does so with both compact and full preview options.

Key Features:

  • Compact Preview: When hovering over the inventory of a shulker box while using Shift, its contents are compactly shown. This shows quickly what is in it without the need to open the box.
  • Full Preview: When hovering over a shulker box, if you press Alt + Shift, it shows a full preview; it shows every contained stack in its proper slot.
  • Support for Other Containers: Other containers it works with include chests, furnaces, and barrels. It even supports modded containers. Preview also works for items received in creative mode using Control + Pick Block.
  • Loot Table Display: If the hovered item has an associated loot table, this mod can display the name of the loot table in the tooltip. This is not on by default and you have to enable it using the configuration.
  • Cross-Platform Support: The mod is available for both Fabric and Forge mod loaders. On Fabric, Fabric Loader and Fabric API are required, with Mod Menu recommended for configuration. On Forge, Cloth Config API is needed.
