OptiGUI

OptiGUI is a client-side mod that expands and customizes in-game GUI textures using resource packs. It's been rewritten in Kotlin to provide better performance, much cleaner code, more features, and far more extensibility. It allows other modders to add their own containers or any other kind of customization option on top of what the mod offers.

Key Features:

  • Custom GUI Textures: This allows changing Minecraft's in-game GUI with resource packs, much like OptiFine, but it performs way better and has more features.
  • Support for OptiFine GUI Resource Packs: Most GUI resource packs that work in OptiFine will work in OptiGUI. If any resource pack doesn't work or behaves differently compared to using OptiFine, report the bugs.
  • Mod Extensibility: A high degree of extensibility by other modders, where adding custom containers and GUI customization options is easily possible by a wide range of active mods.
  • Performance: Version in Kotlin for cleaner and faster code, improved mod performance.
  • Example Resource Pack: Includes an example like a 'Chest Boat GUI' for Minecraft 1.19+ to show just some of what is capable within custom-designed GUI with the help of OptiGUI.
