Not Enough Animations

Not Enough Animations - Minecraft Mod

Not Enough Animations

This mod makes the game look much nicer, adding or enhancing many third-person animations to make first-person actions better represented. Though this originally started as an add-on to the First-Person Mod, it has grown into a standalone mod, which is compatible with both vanilla and third-party servers due to only containing visual changes.

Key Features

  • Eating/Drinking Animations: Shows realistic actions in third-person view.
  • Interactive Map Usage: Third-person in engaging map content if client viewed the map.
  • Improved Shield Blocking: Makes blocking animation to match towards the head direction, independent of rotation of character's body.
  • Offhand Item Concealment: Hides the offhand item in two-handed animations, like using a bow or crossbow.
  • Boat Rowing Animations: Brings life into realistic characters without just passively sitting around.
  • Equitation Changes: Simulates the action of holding reins while horseback riding.
  • Compass and Clock Interaction: Improves interaction by being aligned with first-person usability features, and it's configurable for extended compatibility with other items.
  • Ladder and Climbing Animations: Adds realistic movements during climbing actions.
  • Crawling Animation: Animation when the creature is outside water, replacing swimming.
  • Smooth Arm Movement: Introduces smooth transitions and arm motion while performing certain actions.

Customization

Each feature can be individually toggled via an in-game configuration screen accessible through the ModList or ModMenu.
