Clumps Mod

Clumps is a performance optimization mod that improves the way Minecraft handles XP orbs. It clumps them together into one single entity if there are plenty of them in a little radius, hence avoiding lag or performance issues. This mod ensures the orbs of XP get picked up automatically on contact with the player, saving you from a whole load of orbs floating around and littering your screen.

Key Features:

  • XP Orb Clumping: It clumps the nearby XP orbs into one single entity, hence reducing the number of entities that have to be rendered and processed, which reduces lag.
  • Immediate Collection of XP Orbs: This immediately collects an XP orb when the player comes into contact with it, rather than the frustrating moment of the player having several of these orbs flying around their person.
  • Performance Boost: Having Clumps reduce the amount of XP orb entities and simplifying its collection process would yield efficiency in performance, especially on very populated servers or during an activity like mob farming.
