Animatica

Animatica is a Minecraft mod for the Fabric mod loader that adds support for the animated texture format of MCPatcher/OptiFine. It shows a wide variety of different texture animations within the game that add to the feel and look of moving textures across everything.

Supported Resource Packs: Animatica adds support for resource packs that use custom animated textures, including:

  • Animated GUI textures (for animated elements in the game’s interface).
  • Animated entity textures (for animated textures on entities like mobs).
  • Animated block entity textures (for animated textures on block entities).
  • Animated armor textures (for animations on player or mob armor).
  • Other animated textures (such as animated blocks and items, a feature already available in vanilla).

What Animatica Does NOT Support:

  • Fully Custom GUI (use OptiGUI for custom GUI features).
  • Custom entity models (CEM for Fabric is needed for custom entity models).
  • Custom entity model part animations in 3D (CEM for Fabric is required for these advanced animations).
