Mysterious Portals in Soulmask
In Soulmask, players must survive harsh environments full of perils and dangers, but that is the least of their troubles since they have to travel through the expansive map. This process wastes time and resources as well as exposes gamers to more risk. Fortunately, the game made an alternative with fast travel points that allow characters to go from one location to another in no time.
For fast travel points, players can use two options: the Mysterious Portals and personal portals. This guide will look at Mysterious Portal locations and how to activate them. We will also be covering why it is the best option in the game, so stick around to the end.
Mysterious Portals and Personal Portals
Mysterious Portals are fixed points in Soulmask that players can use to teleport from one point to another. They share similarities with personal portals in that they can be used as travel points to different locations in the Soulmask world. They are unique since they allow players to travel long distances, and they can carry whatever inventory they need.
Personal portals, on the other hand, can only travel mid-range distances, and players can only carry their gear, which means they will leave behind items on their inventory. These portals also have requirements to activate them. For instance, the personal portal needs the three portal parts together with blue and green crystals to activate it. We will look at how to activate the Mysterious Portals in the latter part of this series.
Where to Find Mysterious Portal
Mysterious Portals are scattered throughout the map. The game provides for six of these fast travel points in different locations and players can use six of them. Players will have to unlock these nodes before they can be used to travel from one location to another on the map. To unlock these portals, players must first defeat the Vajra Ape Temple Guardian, and the Mask’s Data Update 3 node is fixed inside the pyramid.
Players can have easy access to these portals, since they are not actively guarded. However, watch out for monsters like Wasteland Wolf, Stray Wolf, and Bush Dog Pack that may spawn in this area. Some of the Mysterious Portal locations in Soulmask.

- Rainforest: The portal in this area is one of the first travel points to unlock in the game. It is located between the lake and the estuary on Rainforest Hill.
- Wetlands: This fast travel point in this region is along the Westland Coast, and you can find it on the left-most side of the beach south of the region. On the map, it is near the estuary, next to the cove.
- Plateau: The portal in this region can be found west of the Rainforest. Finding it won't be a challenge since it is close to the lake. Once you are in the region, search for it to the left of the body of water and somewhere in the upper section of the plateau.
- Volcano: The portal in this area can be found along the volcano biome, close to the area connecting to the Rainforest. You can search for it southeast of the crater close to the cliff.
- Wastelands: The portal in this area is located at the center of the biome. You can find it northeast of the nearest water body linking the desert and the Rainforest.
- Snow Mountain: The portal in this area can be found in the easternmost part of the region, close to the edge bordering this biome. It is easy to spot in the game.
After unlocking these portals, they become fast travel points to one another, so you must be at one of the above-listed locations to decide which of the other locations you want to teleport to. However, you still have to activate the teleporter and meet certain requirements to use it.
How to Activate Mysterious Portals in Soulmask
Once you've unlocked the portals, you need green crystals to activate them. These crystals may pose some challenges in getting them, but they are necessary to operate the portals. Altogether, you need to search for 18 crystals since three of them are needed to activate one portal. You can get green crystals from different locations on the map. Some of the places to consider include;
- Ancient Ruins (inside chests)
- Barbarian Fortress (inside chests)
- Ancient Ruins Dungeons (inside chests)
- Holy Ruins (inside chests)
Killing Temple Guardians will also give you many green crystals in the game since these bosses have a 100% drop rate. After activating the portal, it becomes part of your travel network. However, you cannot set an unactivated portal as your destination, so we recommend activating all the portals before using them.
Use Game Servers for Unmatched Gaming Experience
To max out your gaming experience in Soulmask, we recommend you use servers. But not just any servers; reliable ones like
Scalacube that have numerous offers available to their users. The platform has unlimited traffic with 99.9% uptime, which means players won't face any challenges when playing their favorite game. In addition, players get full FTP access to customize the servers according to their needs.
