Risk of Rain 2: How to Loop
Risk of Rain 2: How to Loop
In Risk of Rain 2, there are two main ways that players can complete their run. Both are difficult, but one way is much more difficult. The normal way to complete the game is by getting to the
fifth stage (Sky Meadows) without looping and beating the game when killing Mithrix. Whereas
the harder way of completing the game is by choosing to Loop the game, where the player will
be transported back to the first environment to start from the beginning, but this time with
increased difficulty.
The aim of Looping is to complete several sets of the five levels in the game. With each set,
new monsters surge, and the item cost becomes stricter. This phenomenon will keep repeating
itself as the player completes more sets. Some of the new monsters you will likely face after
looping include;
- Hermit Crabs (Titanic Plains)
- Jellyfish (Distant Roost and Titanic Plains)
- Void Reaver (Rallypoint Delta and Siren’s Call)
- Clay Templar (Abandoned Aqueduct)
- Alloyed Vulture (Scorched Acres
The loop continues to go round and round, so unless you are ready to fight the boss in the final
level, the only way to end your run is by getting obliterated at the Obelisk.
Looping is substantially harder than fighting Mithrix, and it is the best way to track each run, and
in the end, gives a player a better chance to complete the final stage of the game.
Most players even consider looping a prerequisite for playing the final stage of the game. Of
course, this depends on the difficulty level, and heading into the boss stages with a single run is
not such a bad idea, only that the player may not have enough capabilities to complete it.
On the other hand, Looping is just as rough because things get very challenging as monsters
respawn very quickly and deal heavy damage. In most cases, if a player doesn't even out their
abilities across utility, damage, and healing, they could die, and their run ends there.

The loop continues so unless you are ready to fight the boss in the final level, the only way to end your run is by getting obliterated at the Obelisk. Contrary to what you might believe, looping is harder than fighting Mithrix. However, it is among the best ways to track your runs, and from our experience in the game, it gives players a better chance of completing the game at the final level.

How to Loop Risk of Rain 2
There are several ways to loop your run in Risk of Rain 2. Here are some of the best methods to loop Risk of Rain 2, so you can skip fighting Mithrix even if you've already beaten him before.Alternate the Alignment of the Primordial Teleporter

This method is the normal process to follow if you want to loop the game. Once you’ve
completed the fifth stage of the game, to loop your run, interact with the prawns of the teleporter
rather than the centerpiece. Following the game's instructions, rotate the prawns of the
teleporter, and after completing them, the game will notify you immediately. If you do this
correctly, the message that will display on your screen is this: “The Primordial Teleporter Aligns
With the Planet.” This is a great addition to the game without installing Risk of Rain 2 mods.
You can use the teleporter to start from the beginning of the game, which is either the Distant
Roost or the Titanic Plains. After completing these events, you must have looped the game and
continue your run from stage one in the game. While some players may face this process
without any hassle, others may encounter challenges. For instance, the Primordial Teleporter
may form in a mechanic where you cannot interact with the prawns to change its direction. If
you encounter this scene, try out the other methods below to loop this game.
Enter a Lunar Shop Through the Newt Altar
One of the most satisfying ways to loop the game is through the Lunar Shop, where players can shop on this path while skipping killing Mithrix. This is one of the simplest ways to do this, but
you must initiate the loop before starting the teleporter event. After playing all the stages to the
fifth stage, find a Newt Altar in Sky Meadows and link with it. This Newt Altar spawns in different
places on a map, whether it is the Titanic Plains or the Abandoned Aqueduct.
Since Sky Meadows is a large map, it has the most on any map, which is five Newt Altar. Once
you've interacted with any of these places in the game, a blue orb will appear, where you can
pass through to the Lunar Shop after the teleporter event. After shopping, the game respawns
you at the beginning of the first environment, which means you have evaded going to the moon.
Use the Compound Generator to Enter the Bulwark’s Ambry
The last option you have of entering the Loop is by using the compound generator to enter the Bulwark’s Ambry. This option is if you want to loop the game at the fifth stage, search for the
compound generator and input the hidden codes on the machine. Once you've entered the
code, interact with the laptop at the compound generator to open a portal to the hidden realm,
which is the Bulwark's Ambry. Players must be ready to fight because after going through the
portal, they will need to defeat the boss and claim the Artifact before leaving the arena.
Also, time stops inside the portal, so you do not need to rush when fighting the monsters. After
defeating the boss and collecting the Artifact, you will have to leave through the portal, where
the game will respawn you in the first environment.
